Christmas Distribution Notice 

Snuneymuxw Chief and Council is pleased to announce that all Snuneymuxw members will receive their Christmas Distribution payment!

Thank you to everyone who has submitted your applications so far!
We understand that there will be members who have not been able to submit their applications by the deadline. 

Please note that even if you missed the deadline, you will still receive a Christmas Distribution payment.  

Your Questions Answered:

What happens if I miss the deadline?

That’s ok! All Snuneymuxw members who are eligible to get a Christmas Distribution payment, WILL receive theirs. Our staff will use the information we have on file to send your payment. 

What if my cheque is being sent to an old address because my contact info isn’t up to date?

Please email us at sfn-pdgdistribution@snuneymuxw.ca, and we’ll confirm if a redirect is possible. (Either way, we’ll ensure you receive your payment!)
 When Can I Expect My Payment?

  1. By Direct Deposit:
    • Cheques will be deposited directly into your account by December 13, 2024.
  2. In-Person Collection:
    • At the Snuneymuxw Community Update Event (AGM):
      Collect your cheque during the meeting on December 12, 2024 (5pm-8pm) at the Gym.
    • After the AGM:
      Cheques will be available for pick-up at the Administration Office until December 18, 2024.
      Please notify us, if you want us to hold your cheque for you until January 6, 2025 (when the office re-opens). 
  3. By Mail:
    • Cheques will be mailed out on December 19, 2024. Delivery is expected within 10-14 days. Efforts will be made to ensure timely mailing despite potential delays due to the postal strike.
